Brazilian football legend Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, visited Qatar this week, much to the delight of football fans all across the country.

As part of his visit, Ronaldo also took a tour of Katara, the Cultural Village Foundation, on Monday November 14th, 2011.

Marcio Barbosa, General Manager of Katara, who gave Ronaldo an exclusive tour said in a statement, “Katara was proud to host Ronaldo, as he has been an invaluable figure in the sports field; he has been an inspiration to Qataris and football fans across the world. Sports play an integral part of Qatari culture, it challenges and inspires young people and teaches them the importance of being a team player and today we merge sports with culture.”
