The city of Penang, Malaysia will surely be proud of what the Ministry of Design has created. Taking a 100-year-old building and turning it into a luxurious hotel is not a walk-in-the-park. Named after Governor Colonel Normal Macalister in the 1800s, the now luxurious hotel can now be the destination for tourists in the beautiful country of Malaysia.
With an old English mansion look, the Macalister Mansion still preserves the historical feel. Adding present and fresh amenities, each room has its own sense. Different colors and designs, café, dining and living room, even a den where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Penang, this mansion should definitely be on your list when travelling to Malaysia.
